Notice the damage
Norfolk and Western Magazine is published every month in Roanoke, Va. THIS MONTH'S FRONT COVER shows part of a 92-acre industrial site on the eastern edge of Salem, Va., and adjacent to the Norfolk and Western's Radford Division main line. As the picture indicates, this property is an ideal industrial location. It is almost as level as a table top, near abundant sources of water, electric power, fuel, raw materials, and located in an area with high-class labor, fine schools and friendly neighbors. If any manufacturer is interested in this location, the railway's Industrial and Agricultural Department will be pleased to furnish complete infonnation.
The train shown in the picture is No. 77, one of the N. & W.'s hot shots between Petersburg and Cincinnati-Columbus, with connections between the South and Midwest.
