On the front, an Eli Terry Box Clock, 1816-1820, which was recently purchased by the NAWCC Museum. The box clock was a forerunner of the pillar and scroll clock. It uses a thirty-hour wood movement fastened to the dial and an outside escapement. For more information on the Terry Box Clock see the Museum Column, page 429. On the back cover, the finished movement of the Breguet No. 1 8/82 watch, restored by James O. Michaels. For a thorough description of the plan Michaels used to restore the watch, see the article, complete with photos of the parts (both original and those produced for the restoration) and of the completed dial view, beginning on page 387.
