Chettle This model, as mentioned in Mr. Chettle's letter in 'Blastpipe', represents W&LLR No. 822 'The Earl' in the interim period after GWR takeover but before modification. It was built in 1954, from scratch except for wheels and Zenith motor: wound for 24V and complete with 3/4" flywheel.
