L.T.C.Rolt is a well-known authority on all forms of transport. He has had nearly 4o years motoring experience, mostly in vintage cars, and was the author of Horseless Carriage, the first popular history of the motor car in England. He is a founder member of the Vintage Sports Car Club, and was responsible for organizing the motoring side of the Anglo-American Vintage Car Rally in 1954.
