HOW TO USE THIS ROSTER BOOK
COLUMN I Is the locomotive road number group, or road number. Exceptions or notes may follow roster.
COLUMN 2 Is the actual number of operational units in the road number group.
COLUMN 3 Is the locomotive builder. The two major current builders representing almost all locomotives built in North America now, are GE-General Electric, and GM-General Motors (GM Canada in London, ON and ElectroMotive Division in La Grange IL) other builders are listed below withindicating current builder.

COLUMN 4 Is the original builders model - or in the case of major rebuild or remanufactures, or upgrading, the latest changes will be reflected in the originals builder model since significant physical/powerful changes have occurred.
COLUMN 5 Is the original builders model horsepower, unless altered by rebuild, remanufacture or re-rating.
Steam locomotives are shown by Whyte wheel arrangement. Electric locomotives are shown either by model, horsepower, or weight in tons.
COLUMN 6 Is the original builders year date, except in the event of rebuild or remanufacture the latest date because of the significant upgrading in operating life and valuation.
All pictures are of the actual item. There may be reflection from the lights in some photos. We try to take photos of any damage.
