Section 2-32 of the General Statutes provides: "All public acts, except when otherwise therein specified, shall take effect on the first day of October following the session of the general assembly at which they were passed " (See also Sec. 2-32a which prescribes the effective date of public acts which impose certain duties on political subdivisions of the state).
The following table lists, in the left-hand column, those sections of the General Statutes which are affected by 1975 and 1976 acts having their own specific effective dates. The number and effective date of the acts concerned are entered in the right-hand column opposite the statute section to which they relate.
