2015 was a pivotal year for GE Transportation in Erie. It was the year that they unveiled the most environmentally friendly production locomotive to date; the Tier 4 compliant "ET" Series. GE also had one of the most diverse list of customers receiving locomotives during this single production year period spanning more than 7 countries. Come take a look at those and other new locomotives that ran their first 25 miles on the test track through Wesleyville, Lawrence Park, and Harborcreek, Pennsylvania. Though the lens of an Author and Historian who lives near it.
