Railway trains are no longer a novelty. Day after day hundreds of thousands of passengers are being carried to cities in all parts of the country. But there are trains that stand out by reason of their speed or their special attention to the comfort of the passengers-the trains that represent the finest in transportation. The distinctive names they bear are known to every traveler.
What are the stories of these famous trains? What is the background from which came their names? Through what cities do they pass; over what prairies, mountains, rivers, valleys, do they speed to what distant point, to keep appointments that may not be broken?
