Our January issue of the "Express" has finally arrived in August and so you aks, "Why should I remain a member of ETE when I have to wait eight months to get an issue of the Newsletter?" Our delay has been caused by the personal and personnel problems of John Lewis. This issue was partially completed in January when Al Schindler's then "hot" news about the Nurenberg Toy Fair was received in February. This copy has sat in the cassettes awaiting printout on the word processor. But we had become "locked-in" and could not retrieve the copy without starting from scratch. We apologize. We want you to remain a member of ETE. We had not wanted to send a letter of explanation because of the expense of printing and postage.
So once again we must change our editorial policy. With the next issue, John Lewis will contribute only what his time will allow as far as editing is concerned. We hope that Geoff Fischer, Carl Webster and Eugene Volz can, together, put out the future issues. They may not be as fancy, but we hope they will be on time.
