This booklet is designed as an easy refer- ence guide for the preparation of your new time- slip.

This new timeslip and coding structure has been designed to speed up the processing of your timeslip and eliminate the coding errors inherent in the old system. The new procedure provides for the key entry of the timeslip data directly into the computer. The accuracy of your pay, therefore, will depend on how good a job you do in filling out your timeslip. You should make sure that your number sevens do not look like ones or your number sixes look like zeros.

The Time and Delay Report is to be comand signed by the Conductor of the train crew. If there is no Conductor and you are the ranking employee (regardless of posi) who deadheads or works alone or comes on duty at a location different from the rest of the crew, you also must complete and sign a timeslip.
