The Chessie System Historical Society. On the cover, You can't take this photo anymore in Carey, Ohio as they tore down the signal photographer Dale A. Detiene was standing on at the time. The westbound AC&Y home signal made for a great ladder "even thought I shouldn't have been on it!" Westbound C&O #97 is in the "C Cabin" interlocking with the second car in the train hitting the C&O/NYC diamonds on a lazy June 20, 1984 evening. This line of the New York Central dates back to the 1850s and was built as the Mad River and Lake Erie. The only trackage left in the interlocking is that of the C&O. The AC&Y and NYC have been removed, yet the interlocking remains in service.
