Employes whose duties are prescribed by these instructions must provide themselves with a copy and have same available while on duty. Conditions arising not covered by these instructions demand sound judgment in applying correct principles of safety, efficiency, and economy.
When Train Dispatcher is notified of defective equipment as provided for in the various rules, he must immediately contact the proper Mechanical Department officer and be governed by his instructions.
