Es begann ganz zufallig. Ein Freund machte mich auf eine Modellbahnanlage aufmerksam, die - der Offentlichkeit zuganglich - irgendwo zwischen Kempten und Isny im Allgstehen sollte. Durch fruhere Fehlinformationen und manche Ubertreibungen in ahnlichen Fallen skeptisch geworden, maB ich der Empfehlung wenig Bedeulung bei. Der Bericht einer ortlichen Zeitung mit der aufreil3erischen Uberschrift der Superlative" versteher noch das MiBtrauen. Der Text heB den Verdacht von erheblichen Ubertreibungen aufkommen. Wer glaubt schon auf Anhieb Zahlen wie Laubb, 25 000 Nadelb, 1100 Modellbauten, 6000 Figuren, 575 Fahrzeuge auf 1250 m Gleisen und 2260 kleine Lampchen"? Ein paar Fotos allerdings machten mich stutzig - sollte hier doch et-was Besonderes sein?
Also: Hinfahren und bei einem Lokaltermin feststellen, was uberhaupt " ist!
