At Member Meetings of the American Railway Association and the Association of Railway Executives held in New York, November 8th, 1923, the progress made under this program was reviewed and the following statement was authorized as to their future program.
1.CAR LOADING. There has been moved from January 1st to October 20th, a period of 42 weeks, the largest freight traffic ever handled by the railroads of this country in a similar period.
